A bit about me!
Chicago Embroidery
I started Dear Friend Road in Chicago because there was a growing need for embroidery. Within a span of a couple months, two iconic monogramming stores closed. Leaving Chicago (specifically Lincoln Park) without a place to get embroidery done.
In 2025, I bought a embroidery machine, joined Facebook Groups, TikTok forums and YouTube channels and mastered the art of embroidery!
Dear Friend Road hit the ground running out of my husband's office and the rest is history!
Where did 'Dear Friend Road' come from?
My mom and I have gone on our fair share of mother-daughter trips. Something we both cherish quite a bit. On one of our trips in the Hamptons we stayed at a B&B on Dear Friend road and we thought it was just the cutest name.
Brick & mortar?
Hopefully one day! For now, I work out of my home in Lincoln Park. We have a pretty efficient transfer of goods system for any drop-off and pick-ups :)
